The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules took place Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show featured Braun Strowman against Bray Wyatt in a Wyatt Swamp Fight, Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against Dolph Zigger, Seth Rollins vs. Rey Mysterio in Eye for an Eye Match, and more.
Extreme Rules results:
1. Kickoff Match: Kevin Owens defeated Murphy with a stunner.
2. SmackDown Tag Team Championship Tables Match: Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura defeated The New Day (c) to become the new champions. They win the match by Powerbomb off the second rope through a table outside by Cesaro on Kingston.
3. SmackDown Women's Championship: Bayley (c) defeated Nikki Cross. The finish came when Sasha Banks slided her Boss brass knuckles in the ring and distracted the referee. Bayley punched Cross in the midsection and gave her a facebuster for the win.
4. United States Championship: Apollo Crews (c) vs. MVP didn't happen because Crews wasn't cleared to compete. MVP declared himself winner by forfeit.
5. Eye for an Eye Match: Seth Rollins defeated Rey Mysterio via extracting Rey's eye on the ring steps.
6. Raw Women's Championship: Asuka (c) vs. Sasha Banks was no contest. The referee was taken out by Asuka's green mist. Bayley threw the title belt to Banks, who hit Asuka and covered her for the pin. With no ref, Bayley grabbed a ref's shirt, put it on and counted the pinfall.
7. WWE Championship: Drew McIntyre (c) defeated Dolph Ziggler. The stipulation was that Ziggler could follow Extreme Rules booking while McIntyre would lose the title if he got counted out or disqualified. Drew won the match with the Claymore kick.
8. Wyatt Swamp Fight: Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman in a sense as The Fiend was the last thing shown on the event, rising from the swamp water.
