WWE Raw Results: October 8, 2018

Here are the WWE Raw results for October 8, 2018. The show featured a pair of Super Show-Down rematches, as well as a World Cup qualifier, and more.

WWE Raw Results:

- The show opened with Triple H and Shawn Michaels challenging The Undertaker and Kane to a tag team match at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, and reforming D-Generation X.

1. Bobby Lashley defeated Kevin Owens. Lio Rush talked on the microphone through the entire match, hyping up Lashley and turning him into a heel. Owens had huge support, but lost to a Yokosuka Cutter. Later, Lashley and Rush insulted Finn Balor and Bayley backstage.

- John Cena qualified for the WWE World Cup tournament in Saudi Arabia based on his accomplishments.

2. Ronda Rousey and the Bella Twins defeated The Riott Squad. Rousey tapped out Ruby Riott with an armbar. After the match, the Bella Twins turned on Rousey and beat her down to set up Nikki Bella vs. Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship at Evolution.

3. Finn Bálor and Bayley defeated Alicia Fox and Jinder Mahal. Bálor pinned Mahal after a Coup de Grace.

4. Kurt Angle won a Battle Royal to enter the WWE World Cup Tournament. This was originally set up by Baron Corbin as a joke to get himself into the tournament, with all of the competitors being jobbers dressed up in wacky costumes. The "Conquistador" fired up and hit Kurt Angle's signature moves on Corbin, eliminated him to win the match, then unmasked as Angle.

5. Ember Moon defeated Nia Jax by count-out. They hugged after the match.

- Alexa Bliss and Mickie James tried to bully Trish Stratus, but Trish challenged them to a tag team match right here, right now. Stratus brought out Lita as her partner, and the heels fled. It'll now be James and Bliss vs. Stratus and Lita at Evolution instead of two singles matches.

6. Chad Gable and Bobby Roode defeated The Ascension. Gable won the match with a German suplex. After the match, the AOP showed up and beat up both teams.

- Paul Heyman cut a promo about Brock Lesnar winning at Crown Jewel, and said he wanted to see the Shield's "legalized buggering," for some reason.

7. Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre defeated The Shield. McIntyre pinned Ambrose after a Claymore. After the match, Ambrose walked out on his brothers.
