Tonight's episode of the 2018 Mae Young Classic featured the beginning of round 2.
Mae Young Classic Results:
1. Toni Storm defeated Hiroyo Matsumoto. Storm countered a lariat into a bridging roll-up to win the match and advance to the quarterfinals.
2. Rhea Ripley defeated Kacy Catanzaro. Ripley pinned Catanzaro with a sit-out pumphandle slam.
3. Lacey Lane defeated Taynara Conti with a crucifix roll-up, the same way she won her first round match.
4. Meiko Satomura defeated Mercedes Martinez. Satomura advanced to the quarterfinals with Scorpion Rising.
- Round 2 will conclude with the other four matches next week. The finals will take place at WWE Evolution on October 28th.
