WWE announced that Kevin Owens underwent surgery on both of his knees yesterday.
The article stated that "No timetable has been released for KO's return." It was reported last week that he would likely be out for 4-8 months, depending on how major the surgery was. Double knee surgery seems like it would probably put him on the long end of that timetable, if not even longer.
Owens tweeted a photo on Wednesday of both his knees wrapped up and the caption, "They had a 2 for 1 sale going at the surgery store!".

Owens was written off television in an angle where Bobby Lashley turned heel on the October 8 episode of Raw. Lashley defeated Owens and then continued to attack his knee after the match. Owens also had to be replaced in Mixed Match Challenge season two, with Bobby Roode being announced as Natalya's new partner for the tournament.
