Here are the WWE Raw results for
June 4, 2018. The show was headlined by Finn Bálor vs. Kevin Owens, and the Tag Team Battle Royal match to determine number one
contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship at MITB.
WWE Raw Results:
1. Jinder Mahal and Elias defeated Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Interference from Sunil Singh allowed Elias to DDT Rollins onto a steel chair and follow up with Drift Away to win the match.
2. “James Harden” defeated Curt Hawkins by disqualification.
“James Harden” is Local Talent. Hawkins promised to give free tacos to
everyone in the arena if he won the match and ended his 0-199 losing
streak. Baron Corbin showed up and attacked Harden, giving him the win
by disqualification. Nobody got tacos, and then Hawkins got thrown into
the tacos.
– Baron Corbin is now the “constable” of Raw to provide “checks and
balances” to Kurt Angle, per a letter from Stephanie McMahon.
3. Nia Jax defeated Natalya. Natalya tweaked her
knee during the match, allowing Jax to hit her with a Samoan Drop and
win. After the match, Jax and Ronda Rousey shared an awkward staredown
over injured Natalya.
4. Braun Strowman defeated Bobby Roode. Strowman pinned Roode with running powerslam.
5. The B-Team won a Tag Team Battle Royal.
The match also included Breezango, Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre,
Heath Slater and Rhyno, The Revival, Titus Worldwide and The Ascension.
The B-Team won, last eliminating Rhyno, and are the new number one
contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship.
– Bobby Lashley and Sami Zayn argued for a long time, until Zayn accused Lashley of never having served in the military.
6. The Riott Squad defeated Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and Ember Moon by disqualification. Bliss faked a hamstring injury to leave the match, making it 3-on-2. Bayley ran down to the ring to replace Bliss, made a tag, and won the match with a Belly-to-Bayley. Baron Corbin convinced Kurt Angle that that isn’t allowed and should’ve been a disqualification, so he reversed the decision.
7. Finn Bálor defeated Kevin Owens by disqualification when Owens wouldn’t stop attacking him. After the match, Owens tried to splash Bálor from a ladder, but chickened out. Bálor pulled him down, then hit a Coup de Grace from the top of the ladder.
